The Travis the Movie film team flew straight from San Diego to Chicago for the next Red Carpet screening of Travis: A Soldier’s Story, and were greeted by a water cannon salute from American Airlines! Special thank you to the Chicago Fire Department and American Airlines for the warm welcome.
The Chicago event, hosted by Operation Warrior Wishes, involved so many people and organizations from around the city, and we are so grateful and honored for the efforts made on Travis’s behalf. Thank you to emcee Ramblin’ Ray Stevens of US 99.5, Miss Illinois, Marisa Buchheit, for singing the National Anthem, and the father and son team, Craig and Matt Steichen of Operation Warrior Wishes. The film team also had the opportunity to meet the parents of one of Travis’s Occupational Therapists from Walter Reed Hospital at this screening, and it is always a pleasure to make those connections. Thank you, Chicago, for a wonderful film screening event!
